NASA has developed this applcation which can be used to view any lace in the world on the screen of your PC.

You can navigate the whole world from satellite views and zoom them.

You choose the zone of the world you want to visit today, maybe the beaches of Brazil, the pyramids in Egipt, the Grand Canyon, etc. Prepare your luggage, you decide your destiny.

It is a very good tool, similar to Google Earth, but different. World Wind lets you experience Earth terrain in visually rich 3D, just as if you were really there.
